Different thoughts of death
Didnt post for at least a week. Again busy with schoolwork, lectures, tutorials, tuition and others. However, a bad news popped up Wednesday evening. My family was informed that my oldest uncle (da jiu) got a brain stroke and fell into coma till he passed away the next morning. I got his death news not until I was dismissed from my lecture preparing to meet Mom to go to the hospital. & before that, I still believe he will make it this time round but...... I'm going his funeral tomorrow.I compared the feeling I had last time during My grandmother's death. & frankly speaking, it's different. At that time, I was only in my Primary Five, still naive and totally no idea about the feeling of pain and helplessness when one of your kins passed away. & what I knew was, she will not be able to stay with me, talk to me, accompany me anymore but I still can visit her at her grave. In another words, at that point of time, I was still painless about death. However now, someone who I did respect to, talk to, visit to regularly had passed away so suddenly, the feeling I had was more kinda of emptiness, helplessness and a mixture of sadness. I really cant imagine how my aunt will feel. She had been with him since 19 and he is her only accompany since then till now as all of their children had married and tight to their current family. Fortunately, the youngest daughter is willing to bring her to live together however I was surprise that she is willing to rent the flats out (the HDB that uncle and aunt live), all of their memories were there. Maybe this is a better choice for her to release the pain? I'm that kind who dont willing to let go no matter what, I admit, I'm.
It's getting late, signing off.
